SoCal is in the house!
With an 11-0 win over Red Bluff Little League, Grand Terrace Little League won the "Battle of California" in the West Regional today to become the final American team to advance to the 2008 Little League Softball World Series. Red Bluff represented Northern California and GTLL represented Southern California.

The Girls from Grand Terrace should be proud of their accomplishment. It is just sad that not all of the girls were able to go through all the rough times, and selflessness as 10 of the girls. Girls that put their life on hold for the last 2 or 3 years for this final goal, and then get kicked in the gut for the glory of the league. It is a shame to ask so much from a 12-13 year old girl, and then allow them to have to sit and watch from Grand Terrace, while a few girls were not chosen for their drive and determination. Good luck, and we still hope for the girls that are there in Oregon, to bring home the championship.
